Where do I configure Miva Merchant to use
the graphics from the Graphics Paks?
Log into your Miva Merchant Administration and goto:
"Stores" > *your
store's name* > "Images"
or "Buttons"
From the "Images" screen you can configure
your body background and your navigation bar buttons.
If you using Miva Merchant 3.x or better, you may also go to the "Buttons"
screen and configure any other buttons that Miva Merchant uses with
its interface.
How do I send the graphics files to my Miva/Web
site?
Log into your store's administration as outlined above. To the right
of each file path entry you will find an upload icon. Select the icon
and browse for the path of your image on your local computer. Check
the overwrite selection and select upload. You may also
use FTP to upload your graphics to your server and then change the file
paths in the fields appropriately.
The usual directory path using FTP will be /Merchant2/graphics/00000001/yournewimage.gif
, although this doesn't necessarily have to be so.
As always, before making administrative changes
to the store make sure you create a backup of your store.
Can I transfer a non-compiled module to a compiled
Miva Merchant release (v4.14+)?
No, compiled and non-compiled module versions are two very much different
sets of code. Any Miva Merchant versions prior to v4.14 are considered
non-compiled.
After installing the newest version of OpenUI,
it messed up the NavBar Button Swap module display I was using
with the Graphics Pak! What do I do?
Beginning in OUI v4.48 and OUI Compiled v4.55, some unexpected
enhancements were added by OUI development. After the OUI installation,
it may have enabled the new NavBar features by default. In order to
work properly with the NavBar Button Swap module, this setting
will need to be turned off. To do so, log into Miva Administration and
go to:
"Stores" > *your
store's name* > "Navigation
Bar Settings"
In the Navigation Bar Settings screen, make sure "Uncheck
to use the old-style Navigation Bar " is unchecked, and
select "Update".
I've just installed a Graphics Pak using the
NavBar Button Swap Module, but I'm not seeing any changes!
First, make sure you follow the installation instructions specific
to the Graphics Pak or module included along with the downloaded .zip
file. Also make sure the module itself is installed through Miva Administration
and then activated in the System Extensions section.
If OUI v4.48 or OUI Compiled v4.55 or newer is being used, see
the previous question for proper configuration.
On how many sites can I reuse the graphics from
the Pixel Composer Graphics Paks?
Each Pixel Composer Graphics Pak is licensed on a per domain basis.
Meaning each Graphics Pak is allowed to be used on one domain name (ex.
pixelcomposer.com ). However if you are the owner of a virtual mall,
each license is extended to no more than three stores per domain name.

I would like to purchase custom made buttons

I just downloaded a Graphics Pak and it has a .zip
extension, what do I do with this?

that will do this for you can be downloaded at the Winzip
website.
